A Kind Act Filled with Compassion and Care
8 october, 2025
The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a global initiative aimed at ending poverty, combating inequality and injustice, protecting the planet, and ensuring peace and prosperity for all.
In particular, SDG 4 “Quality Education” and SDG 10 “Reduced Inequalities” emphasize the importance of inclusive education and equal opportunities for every individual.
In support of these global goals, on October 7, 2025, PhD students of the Department of Thermal Physics and Technical Physics, Faculty of Physics and Technology, visited Special Boarding School No. 6 (for children with intellectual developmental disabilities).
To enhance the students’ learning environment and provide opportunities for meaningful leisure, the school was gifted a television.
This kind initiative not only brought joy to the children but also supported their social integration and inclusion.
The department’s staff and doctoral students plan to continue similar philanthropic and socially responsible activities in the future.
We believe that supporting children means supporting the future of our society.
