Table Tennis Tournament Dedicated to the Republic Day

The Department of Thermophysics and Technical Physics of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University held a table tennis tournament among students of six natural science faculties in honor of the Republic Day of Kazakhstan.

The event was supported by the student dean Lazzat Begzhankyzy and active members of the faculty.
🏆 Winners:
🥇 1st place – Nurymbetov Nurzhan (Faculty of Physics and Technology)
🥈 2nd place – Hasibullah Badghisi (Faculty of Information Technology)
🥉 3rd place – Kamshatov Dair (Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics)

The table tennis set, previously purchased with the support of the “Parasat” trade union, has become a great foundation for strengthening the faculty’s sports traditions.

Such initiatives reflect the values of Al-Farabi KazNU and contribute to achieving SDG #3 “Good Health and Well-being” and SDG #4 “Quality Education.”
