Round Table “Republic Day: Youth as the Foundation of the Nation’s Future”

On 22 October 2025, the Department of Economics held a round table dedicated to Republic Day – 25 October. The event highlighted the importance of this national holiday in strengthening independence, unity, and the country’s sustainable development.

Participants discussed Kazakhstan’s contribution to SDG 4 – Quality Education, SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth, and SDG 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities.

1st- and 3rd-year students of the “6B04109 – Digital Economy” programme shared their views on the national economy, quality of education, the “Digital Kazakhstan” initiative, and living standards.

The discussion emphasized the value of preserving national identity and the role of youth in building a responsible and sustainable future for the country.
