The first-year students majoring in Meteorology from the Faculty of Geography held a lesson on the topic: "Climate Action." The lesson focused on global environmental issues related to rising global temperatures, changing weather patterns, and the increasing frequency of natural disasters.
During the lesson, the students divided into groups and presented mini-projects on the causes and consequences of climate change. They examined the impact of greenhouse gas emissions on the atmosphere, as well as the consequences of melting glaciers and rising sea levels.
The participants focused on the role of humans in climate change and the need to transition to sustainable energy sources. The students proposed practical measures to reduce their carbon footprint, including using public transportation, reducing plastic waste, and developing renewable energy sources.
The lesson was informative and relevant. It helped students realize that the fight against climate change is not only a global task, but also a personal responsibility of each person for the future of the planet.
