Educational program

The program is aimed to the formation of a philologist-researcher who owns the scientific and theoretical basis of Kazakh linguistics at the bachelor's level, a clerk in the state language in state and public organisations, a proofreader, editor, copywriter, PR manager in the media, a specialist working in Internet communication centers and language learning centers.

LO1 forms its own opinion about new directions, new scientific conclusions, and current problems of linguistics and literary studies.
LO2 distinguishes the formation and development of the Kazakh language, the connections between ancient and modern languages, the origin of words, grammatical and linguistic changes.
LO3, as a specialist with higher education, determines the internal genetic and semantic meaning and the existing meaning of the language.
LO4 masters the basic units of the text, edits the text, distinguishes types of philological analysis.
LO5 conducts research on functional, communicative, pragmatic, cognitive features of the Kazakh national literary language.
LO6 evaluates discourse, media text from a linguopragmatic point of view.
LO7 develops modern innovative ideas, principles of interlanguage and intercultural communication.
LO8 can prepare scientific papers, textbooks, methodological guidelines, dictionaries in the field of linguistics and literary studies in scientific research, academic and educational institutions.
LO9 edits scientific, technical, socio-political, economic, fiction, materials in correspondence with foreign institutions and enterprises.
LO10 effectively uses methods and means of obtaining, storing, and processing information in the field of mass media.
LO11 is proficient in writing abstracts, philological explanations, analytical essays, review abstracts, scientific reports, educational and research projects, scientific reports, abstracts of articles, philological comments in government institutions and organizations.
LO12 can conduct a scientific examination of the stages of development, culture, language, social and interpersonal relations of the Kazakh society.

This program in accordance with the relevant tasks of the national education system is aimed to the formation of specialists: - using innovative teaching technologies in the educational process (philologist-teacher); - planning continuous professional development, conducting monitoring studies of educational experience (philologist-researcher); - realizing innovative ideas; who are able to establish communication by relating with representatives of state bodies (manager of intercultural communication); - establishing contact with media personalities in accordance with information requirements (PR Manager); - effectively using methods and means of obtaining, storing, processing information in the media; leading blogs which meet public requests (blogger); - creating advertising and presentation texts (copywriter); - preparing reports for individuals in high government positions, politicians, public figures or entrepreneurs (speechwriter); - broadcasting ideas of mass media programs (reporter); - leading media programs (TV and radio host); - editing materials (editor, proofreader); - using software and information tools of computer programs and networks intended for data collection, processing and storage (document flow organizer); - implementing digital technologies for data analysis and management tools (IT linguist); - conducting professional project activities using information and communication technologies.
