Educational program
The goal of the educational program is to train highly qualified and competitive public health specialists who are able to:
- address public health problems and meet the challenges of the 21st century in this area;
- conduct research and teach constructive public health;
- to be a leader in science and practice in the public health system.
Upon completion of this program, it is expected that doctoral students should be able to:
1. B1 Demonstrate systemic knowledge of the current state of public health and healthcare, its problems and development prospects;
2. B2 Demonstrate the skills of scientific knowledge methodology in public health;
3. Q3 Analyze the latest theoretical and practical developments, scientific concepts and achievements of world and Kazakhstan science in the field of public health;
4. B4 Critically evaluate, analyze and process information from various sources;
5. С1 Independently plan, organize and conduct research in the field of public health and implement the results obtained in practical work;
6. C2 Make your own original contribution to the development of public health;
7. C3 Apply modern theories and methods of analysis in planning and conducting research in the field of public health;
8. C4 Conduct expertise and evaluate scientific projects and research in the field of public health;
9. C5 Plan your own professional development in the light of current trends in public health;
10. С6 Provide principles for the protection of intellectual property rights to scientific discoveries and developments;
11. C7 Demonstrate competence in matters of university training for public health specialists;
12. D1 Report achievements to colleagues, the scientific world, the general public and speak at international scientific forums, conferences and seminars on public health issues.
Educational programs of doctoral studies
Persons entering doctoral studies (PhD) submit the following package of documents:
when applying to organizations of university and postgraduate education:
1) an application addressed to the head of the organization of higher and postgraduate education (in any form);
2) a document on education (original, when submitting documents to the selection committee);
3) identity document (required for personal identification);
4) official certificate of passing the state language exam (KAZTEST) issu
