Educational program
High-quality training of highly qualified scientific,pedagogical and profile orientation in the field of Geoinformatics and remote sensing of the earth for specialized research institutes, Universities, research and production organizations and associations, national and regional land committees, government agencies and relevant ministries. The implementation of the program is aimed at the formation of specialists capable of:
independently obtain and interpret the knowledge, methods and competencies of modern Geoinformatics in the chosen professional field, including teaching;
interpret the results of the analysis of earth remote sensing data for use in various sectors of life and activities of society;
integrate modern methods and techniques of related scientific fields in their own scientific and applied research;
substantiate the need and evidence base of geographical data and programming GIS environment and big data analysis in the implementation of public economic development programs;
to increase the efficiency of the scientific and educational process by providing innovative methods of learning;
to build its own program of further research activities.
interpret the modern system of knowledge and interdisciplinary methods of geoinformation science in the planning of scientific and applied research and educational process.
interpret the spatial data processing capabilities of the R language into an open-source GIS software.
– demonstrate the use of innovative methods and promising trends of modern GIS technologies in the planning of scientific and educational programs.
– draw a conclusion of holistic knowledge, reflecting the current level of automated systems for the collection and processing of remote sensing data.
– formulate the results of the analysis of big data and machine learning, the content and factors of the formation of GIS technology of local, regional and national scale.
– to evaluate and predict spatial data and their impact on society and geographic systems to develop methodological provisions for forecasting and planning of economic use of agricultural land on the basis of GIS technologies.
– design thematic and large-scale series of forecast electronic maps for project planning and management in the study of spatial geosystems.
to present the results of research in a professional environment, to justify the choice of methods of scientific research, the results of the main provisions of project research.
Educational programs of doctoral studies
Persons entering doctoral studies (PhD) submit the following package of documents:
