Educational program
To train specialists who understand the fundamental foundations of archaeological science, who have knowledge about archaeological cultures, agricultural and nomadic civilizations in different historical periods. To form an understanding of interdisciplinary and modern digital methods in archaeology.1. To integrate interdisciplinary knowledge into the research process on the problems of archaeology in order to describe and analyze modern research approaches; to be ready for correct and tolerant interaction in society, for social interaction and cooperation to solve problems of science; to show a civic position based on a deep understanding and scientific analysis of the main stages, patterns and peculiarities of the historical development of Kazakhstan;
2. Describe tracological, geological, geodetic, topographic, archaeogenetic, zooarchaeological, digital methods in archaeology; explain the role of sociological, political, and environmental processes in the history of archaeological research.
3. To use the methods of interdisciplinary research and artificial intelligence in laboratory and laboratory work
4. Describe the main methods of archaeological research; explain the features of archaeological cultures: the process of formation and the causes of decay or prosperity
5. To carry out a comprehensive analysis of literature from the standpoint of ideological and thematic content, to use the scientific literature of foreign scientists and to draw parallels
6. Possess knowledge about foreign archaeological schools, systematically evaluate the history of the development of archaeological science abroad
7. To carry out laboratory and laboratory work, tracological examination of ceramic fragments found during archaeological work
8. To analyze funeral and memorial monuments by type, structure, temporary features; to determine the cultural affiliation of the monument by household items, military paraphernalia, by ritual accompaniment of the buried
9. Demonstrate the ability to analyze foreign literature, analyze the formation of theoretical, procedural, post-procedural archaeology
10. To use knowledge on the methods of conducting field archaeological work during archaeological exploration or excavations; to characterize the main theories about the origin of man, justifying archaeological finds
11. Classify technologies and methods of conducting archaeological excavations in Europe and Asia, analyze excavation methods and methods of restoration and conservation of archaeological sites
12. Demonstrate the ability of scientific reasoning, conducting scientific discussion in relation to the facts of the spiritual and material culture of ancient and medieval tribes.
