Educational program
The purpose of the educational program:training of specialists with professional competencies to solve theoretical and applied problems in the field of chemical physics related to combustion and explosion processes, physical and chemical engineering, materials science and nanotechnology.
Upon completion of this program, master's degree students are expected to be able to:
LO 1. Formulate modern concepts of the relationship between the composition, structure and properties of materials, including composites, as well as changes occurring during combustion;
LO 2. Systematize modern combustion theories, combustion process patterns that explain the structure and types of flames, as well as combustion modes;
LO 3. Justify the choice and applicability of 3D printing methods, obtaining materials and pyrotechnic compositions, metal powders, composite materials, including nanomaterials, as well as methods for studying their structures;
LO 4. Apply 3D printing methods, synthesis and modification in flame to create and obtain structured systems, including nanomaterials;
LO 5. Conduct research using physicochemical methods for determining the structure and composition of materials, including nanomaterials;
LO 6. Apply combustion theories to explain the structure and properties of materials obtained as a result of flame synthesis;
LO 7. Apply combustion theories, combustion process patterns, as well as 3D printing methods, flame synthesis and modification to create and obtain structured systems, including nanomaterials in scientific, industrial and educational activities;
LO 8. Develop materials with specified properties and predict their service life using the acquired knowledge about the structure of matter, the nature of chemical bonds in various classes of chemical compounds;
LO 9. Demonstrate readiness to theoretically substantiate and optimize technological processes for obtaining promising materials and manufacturing new products from them, taking into account the consequences for society, the economy and the environment;
LO 10. Conduct a comparative analysis of the most rational, economically and environmentally sound methods for obtaining materials and pyrotechnic compositions of various chemical structures and compositions;
LO 11. Apply in practice professional and personal qualities that provide broad opportunities for self-realization in the latest fields of knowledge, the most significant areas of professional activity and public life;
LO 12. Organize the work of teams, performers, independently accept social and ethical obligations.
Conduct all types of training in the field of chemical physics, taking into account the integration of education, science and innovation for both traditional and distance learning, using feedback with students using digital technologies.
