Dissertation Council

The Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi approved by the Chairman of the Board - Rector and operates dissertation councils for the defense of dissertations and the award of the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in 70 specialties / educational programs, 25 areas of training. KazNU named after al-Farabi has a special status and the right to independently award the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), doctor in profile based on the decision of the dissertation council and issue a diploma of its own sample.
