Palace of Students U.A. Zholdasbekov - a concert hall, which is part of the university complex of KazNU al-Farabi. Palace of Students U.A. Zholdasbekov takes the second place after the Palace of the Republic among the objects of cultural and entertainment direction. Palace of Students U.A. Zholdasbekov Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi was opened in January 1998.
The main task of the DC is to meet a variety of cultural needs, the development of amateur creativity of students and youth.
Students spend their free time in amateur art circles at the Palace of Students. U.A. Zholdasbekov - one of the most beautiful concert halls in Kazakhstan. The Palace of Students of KazNU is an original complex for 1537 people with an area of 14,240 square meters.
Solemn, festive and cultural events, concerts, aitys, KVN are held on the stage of the Palace.
At the Palace of Students there is an Art Center where there is a dance ensemble, an acting school, the Farabi Sazy Folk Instruments Orchestra, circles: vocal, kobyz, dombra, which provide an opportunity to reveal and express themselves on stage to young talents. These student groups, which are very popular, have been repeatedly noted at republican competitions and festivals.
The administration of the Palace of Students is open from 9-00 to 18-00 every day (except Sunday).
