On October 19, 2025, a seminar was held at the Faculty of History at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University under the guidance of L.A. Tursalieva, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Russian Philology and World Literature, within the framework of  of SDG-4 "Quality Education." The students majoring in History participated in the event. The  students in groups developed presentations on the literature of the second half of the 20th century; prepared audiovisual materials, newspapers, crosswords, and quizzes.

Literature of the second half of the 20th century, that is, post-war literature, developed within the same ideology. The war was over, reconstruction work was underway, cities, villages, factories, and plants were being rebuilt. Writers and poets had much to write about. A whole series of new trends appeared in Soviet literature: “war prose,” “urban prose,” “quiet lyricism,” “loud pop music,” etc. (the definitions of literary trends are explained and written on the board) Constant political persecution, restraint and ubiquitous control, regular guardianship and someone's targeted guidance all prevented writers from freely expressing their opinions and artistically depicting historical events and the reality of Russian life. Solzhenitsyn was expelled, Brodsky left, Shukshin died, Aksyonov was stripped of his citizenship, and Vladimir Vysotsky died.
