Contribution of Young Specialists: Participation of the Department of Fundamental Medicine in the Eurasian Oncology Forum

From November 19 to 21, 2025, Almaty hosted the 1st Eurasian Oncology Leaders Forum, bringing together specialists from Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Turkey. The event served as an important platform for strengthening international cooperation and discussing modern achievements in the field of oncology.
From the Department of Fundamental Medicine, curators — Tolenova Karakoz, Aytzhan Mentay, and Toregeldiyeva Aidana, together with first-year Medicine students, attended the forum. Participants listened to presentations by leading experts and learned about cutting-edge oncological technologies, including robotic surgery, 3D surgery, and advanced radiation therapy techniques.
The forum provided valuable experience for the students, expanding their professional horizons and offering a deeper understanding of current trends in medicine and international clinical practice.
