On November 27, an informational seminar dedicated to the effective use of the electronic educational resources E-Uni and IPR SMART was held at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Scientific Library. The event brought together faculty members and staff committed to maximizing the university's digital capabilities.
The speakers provided a detailed demonstration of the platforms' functionality, explaining how to easily and quickly locate available educational publications, scholarly articles, and periodicals. The key benefits of the resources were highlighted: 24/7 round-the-clock access, a broad spectrum of relevant literature, and the ability to work with materials remotely from any device.
These tools are of particular value to educators whose work is directly related to the continuous updating of teaching content. Specifically, this opens up new opportunities for the Faculty of Pre-University Education and the Department of Language and General Education Training for Foreigners. Access to fresh manuals on RFL (Russian as a Foreign Language), methodological developments, and current journals significantly enhances the quality of teaching, helping foreign students quickly adapt and receive a high-quality education.
Enhancing the digital literacy of faculty and expanding access to global information resources is an important step towards creating an inclusive and high-quality educational environment.
