How to Create a Safe Learning Environment? — SDGs: №4 “Quality Education”, №8 “Decent Work and Economic Growth”, №16 “Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions”.

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Faculty of Physics and Technology. On October 13, 2025 at 12:00, in auditorium 507, an open educational session titled “How to create a safe learning environment?” was held by first-year students of group RET-125 in the field of “Radio Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications.” Responsible curator: Almen D.B., Department of Electronics and Astrophysics. The session addressed the importance of safety rules within the university environment, fire safety and emergency response, cybersecurity awareness, anti-bullying strategies and the personal responsibility of students in maintaining a safe academic space. The lesson involved explanation, video materials, discussion, analysis, question-answer interaction and the use of information-communication technologies. The session achieved its objectives fully, students demonstrated high engagement, expressed opinions freely, worked collaboratively, completed creative tasks and showed respectful communication. As a result, participants recognized the significance of building a safe educational atmosphere and accepted personal responsibility in sustaining it.
