Curator’s Session within SDG 4 “Quality Education” and SDG 16 “Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions”: “Observing Ethical and Moral Norms in Everyday Life”

On November 24, 2025, in classroom 509, a curator’s session titled “Observing Ethical and Moral Norms in Everyday Life” was conducted for first-year students of group PeiSU-225. The event supported the principles of SDG 4, particularly SDG 4.7 — education for responsible citizenship, as well as SDG 16 — fostering respectful and cohesive societies.

1. Introduction.
The curator highlighted the importance of ethical behavior and its role in shaping a respectful and culturally conscious society.

2. Thematic Presentation.
The presentation “Ethics and Discipline in Daily Life” covered:

  • communication etiquette;

  • behavior culture in public spaces;

  • mutual respect in family relations;

  • online ethics and digital etiquette.

These aspects enhance personal development in line with SDG 4.

3. Group Discussion.
Students discussed the level of etiquette among youth today and the consequences of violating ethical norms, supporting the aims of SDG 16.

4. Practical Task.
Small groups created behavioral models for ethical conduct in university, public places, and family settings.

5. Conclusion.
Students demonstrated increased awareness of ethical norms, shared recommendations for cultivating good habits, and strengthened their sense of personal and social responsibility.
