Opening Ceremony of the International Project “Scientists of the Future”was held at Al-Farabi KazNU

On December 8-9, 2025, аl-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted the opening ceremony of the international project “Scientists of the Future” with the participation of Nikita Vladimirovich Gusev, Rector of the A.S. Pushkin State Institute of the Russian Language, as well as scholars and representatives of leading universities of the Russian Federation.

The project is aimed at strengthening and expanding bilateral cooperation between the universities of the two countries, as well as promoting advanced ideas in the fields of education, science, and innovation.

Such broad partnership demonstrates the importance of joint scientific initiatives and opens new opportunities for academic mobility, exchange of experience, and implementation of research projects.

During the event, scholars delivered lectures, conducted master classes, presented scientific projects, and discussed prospects for further cooperation within modern scientific fields.

As part of the program, the International Testing Center for Russian as a Foreign Language (RFL) was opened, which will operate at the “Russian Language and Culture” Center.

Participants expressed their sincere gratitude to the Dean of the Faculty of Philology, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan, Bayan Umirbekovna Zholdasbekova, the Head of the Department of Russian Philology and World Literature, Alena Sergeevna Demchenko, and the Director of the “Russian Language and Culture” Center, Saule Begalievna Begalieva, for the high level of organization and successful implementation of the events.
