The "Fight against hunger" event was held at the Department of Pre-university Education of the Faculty of Pre-University Education. The purpose of the event was to get acquainted with the countries where famine is currently occurring, find out the causes and consequences, and understand how to effectively use the food we currently use in our lives.

The audience received information about African countries where hunger is observed, got acquainted with the situation and considered ways to prevent it. Currently, 21 million children could die of hunger in South Africa. In particular, the countries of Malawi, Lesotho, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia declared a regime of hunger and poverty due to drought and other problems. The UN says the issue could become a "full-scale humanitarian disaster."

Considering these problems, they looked for ways to avoid starvation. We shared our thoughts on how to properly and effectively use all the resources and food that we currently use in life. They also shared their thoughts on how to help countries affected by hunger.
