5 november, 2025

On November 5, 2025, an important cultural and educational event based on the national worldview was organized for 2nd-year students of the specialty of Cultural Studies at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

During the event, students were offered special interactive programs aimed at combining traditional Kazakh values and sustainable development in modern society. The program comprehensively discussed the connection of the basic concepts of national thinking, such as respect for Mother Earth, environmental ethics, family responsibility, spiritual culture and community unity, with modern social problems.

The main purpose of the event is to pave the way for future cultural scientists to deeply understand the spiritual and moral principles in Kazakh culture, develop skills in understanding the national worldview in the context of modern society and form a national approach to the concept of sustainable development.

The students listened to reports on symbolic systems in Kazakh culture, traditional ethics, philosophy of harmony with nature and concepts of human responsibility in society, and then analyzed the issues raised on a special discussion platform with a modern cultural approach.

During the discussion, the participants noted that the national worldview is closely linked to ecological culture, social justice, the institution of the family and moral norms. A special place in the formation of the stability of society was given to such concepts as "Zher-Ana", "Shanyrak", "Yntymak", "Adaldyk", "Meyrim" in the Kazakh environment.

As a result of the discussion, the students identified the following core values:

        compassionate attitude to nature and environmental responsibility;

        avoiding carelessness in society, strengthening the culture of mutual support;

        the importance of the family as a spiritual center;

        principles of patience, tolerance, and virtue in national ethics;

        the need to develop a culture of mercy, humanity and responsibility in a modern context.

This cultural and educational meeting broadened the professional horizons of the students and deepened their critical and analytical approach to national culture. This allowed us to rethink the place and relevance of the spiritual values of the Kazakh worldview in modern society.

In conclusion, the organized event strengthened the spiritual culture of future cultural scientists and had a positive impact on personal development. The linking analysis of national values with modern problems led students to realize their responsibility to society, to a scientific understanding of cultural heritage and to actively participate in its development.
