On November 27, 2025, A.I. Akhmetzhanova, a lecturer at the Department of Russian Philology and World Literature, and first-year students from the Faculty of Law at Al – Farabi KazNU visited N. Sats State Academic Russian Theater for Children and Youth to see the staging of “The House with a Mezzanine” play by A.P. Chekhov. The viewing of the play based on “The House with a Mezzanine” story by A.P. Chekhov's was a part of the implementation of the SDG-4 program aimed at the cultural and spiritual development of young people. The production allowed future lawyers to get in touch with the classics of world literature and reflect on the eternal questions of duty, love, and human destiny, which is an important part of shaping the ethical character of future legal professionals.
The life and work of the writer deserve attention and study, and his works are classics even today. Based on his works, scientific research was conducted to write essays. The theater visit was a cultural event for the students.
