The cluster meeting on the impact of Erasmus+ projects
The cluster meeting on the impact of Erasmus+ projects on higher education in the field of environmental protection and natural resource management, organized by the National Erasmus+ Office in Kazakhstan and hosted at Esil University, brought together representatives of universities, research centers, and project coordinators.
The event featured a series of presentations addressing the outcomes and impact of Erasmus+ projects at institutional, educational, and national levels, with a strong focus on sustainable development, environmental education, and university–industry cooperation.
Among the speakers, Z.K. Shortanbayeva presented on the impact of the LESLIE project, highlighting its contribution to education–business integration in land management, environmental protection, and solid waste management in Central Asia. The presentation emphasized the project’s role in advancing micro-credentials, recognition of learning outcomes, and practice-oriented education.
Overall, the presented reports demonstrated the contribution of Erasmus+ projects to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
