Students for Support and Solidarity

On December 17, 2025, under the leadership of N.K. Mynbatyrova, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, and the student club "Memleket zhane kuqyq tarikhy", together with students from groups 304 and 305 of the Faculty of Law, a social event was held aimed at supporting low-income families in our city. The goal of the event was to provide targeted financial and humanitarian assistance to low-income families and contribute to the eradication of poverty.

In preparation for the event, a student initiative group, in collaboration with local social welfare authorities, identified a list of families in need of priority support. On the day of the event, the students divided into groups to create and deliver targeted packages. The students visited two families at home, delivering the collected aid and offering moral support.

Being a student isn't just about lectures and exams; it's also a real opportunity to change lives for the better. Poverty eradication begins with local initiatives. We believe that systemic change comes from small acts of kindness. By helping one family today, we build a more sustainable and just society tomorrow. The event was organized as part of SDG 1 – "No Poverty," which aims to support vulnerable groups and ensure basic conditions for a dignified life. During the event, low-income families received assistance in the form of food and essential items. Food assistance helps reduce the financial burden on families and provide them with necessary resources.

The event helped draw the attention of the student community to the problem of poverty in our city. The practical implementation of SDG 1 helped foster social responsibility and empathy among students. Similar events are planned for regular use.

The event was organized as part of SDG 1 "No Poverty," which aims to support vulnerable groups and ensure basic conditions for a dignified life. During the campaign, low-income families received assistance in the form of food and basic necessities. Food assistance helps reduce the financial burden on families and provides them with necessary resources.

Such acts of kindness instill in students an active civic stance, a sense of responsibility, and an understanding of the importance of each individual's contribution to achieving the global Sustainable Development Goals.

Together, we are taking a step toward a society without poverty.
