Informational Work on the Presidential Youth Personnel Reserve Program Conducted at KazNU within SDG 4
On December 12, 2025, at the initiative of the Research Center for Biomedicine of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, an informational podcast dedicated to the Presidential Youth Personnel Reserve Program was held. The event was organized as an online campaign on social media on the YouTube platform on the @Khabar TANYM channel and implemented within the framework of Sustainable Development Goal 4 – “Quality Education”.
The main purpose of the podcast was to create a positive image of the presidential initiative to establish a personnel reserve and to widely promote it, to provide comprehensive information about the Presidential Youth Personnel Reserve Program, as well as to clarify the opportunities for attracting young specialists with high scientific and managerial potential to the public and quasi-public sectors.

Within the framework of the program, the following activities were carried out:
- preparation and publication of a podcast dedicated to promoting the values of the SDGs;
- dissemination of information about the Presidential Youth Personnel Reserve Program;
- informing a wide audience about opportunities for the professional and personal development of youth;
- raising awareness of the role of education and health in sustainable development;
- posting materials on digital and social media platforms.
The event was attended by the Director of the Research Center for Biomedicine at KazNU, PhD, Professor Ydyrys Alibek, who provided detailed information about the goals, objectives, requirements, and selection stages of the program. He emphasized the importance of the program for attracting personnel to the public administration system who are capable of making scientifically grounded, data-driven, and innovative decisions.
Professor Ydyrys Alibek noted that the program serves as an effective platform for the professional development of representatives in the fields of science and education, and also emphasized the role of universities and research centers in the strategic development of the country. In addition, he highlighted the importance of involving specialists in medicine and biology in the public administration system, which contributes to improving the quality of life of the population and strengthening public well-being.
In an open interview format with the podcast host Lunara Yesen, viewers received answers to their questions about the program, and topics such as developing youth leadership potential, serving society, and personal responsibility were discussed.
The podcast garnered 370,000 views, generating significant interest among young people and university staff. As a result of the event, viewers’ awareness of the Presidential Youth Personnel Reserve Program increased, and the motivation of young scientists and specialists to participate in the public administration system grew.
This initiative represents a concrete contribution of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, including SDG 4 – “Quality Education,” and is considered an important step in fostering a science-based management culture.
