The Use of AI in Teaching Natural Science Disciplines

On September 22, 2025, a city seminar on the topic “The Use of AI in Teaching Natural Science Disciplines” was held at KSU "School-Gymnasium No. 133" within the framework of implementing the Sustainable Development Goal «Quality Education».

The seminar was attended by PhD in Chemistry, Associate Professor of the Department of Chemistry and Technology of Organic Substances, Natural Compounds and Polymers of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University R.K. Rakhmatullayeva, Senior Lecturer of the Department of JSC "Өрлеу" Institute for Professional Development of Educators G.A. Suleimenova, as well as schoolteachers of Almaty.

The purpose of the seminar was to enhance teachers’ digital literacy and improve the quality of education through the effective use of AI.

During the event, educators exchanged experiences, discussed the role of artificial intelligence in the educational process, its potential in developing students’ functional literacy, and explored ways to effectively apply AI in teaching natural science disciplines, as well as new opportunities for using AI in the classroom.
