A KazNU Student Completed Academic Mobility Training in the Czech Republic
A fourth-year student of the educational program “6B02205 – History” at the Faculty of History of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Ayaulym Dastan Dastankyzy, participated in the Academic Mobility program during the 2025–2026 academic year.
Within the framework of this program, she studied for one semester at Palacký University in Olomouc, Czech Republic. During her studies, the student completed a number of academic courses focused on European history, the formation of statehood, and systems of public administration. These courses included: Development of State Administration and Self-Government in the Czech Lands, Modern European Statehood, Significant Chapters of European History, History of Czech Lands I–II, Gender in the Historical Context.
Studying at a foreign university contributed to the deepening of theoretical knowledge and the development of practical skills in analyzing historical sources, conducting comparative historical research, critical thinking, and academic writing. Interaction with international professors and learning in a multicultural academic environment allowed the student to become familiar with the European higher education system and made a significant contribution to her professional and personal development.
