Faculty members of the Department of Information Systems took part in an international online seminar entitled “Modern Trends in the Development of Foreign Language Teaching Methodology”, held in Bukhara, Republic of Uzbekistan.

On January 13–14, 2026, Bukhara State Technical University organized an international online winter school and seminar-training on the topic “Modern Trends in the Development of Foreign Language Teaching Methodology: Local Approaches and Solutions Based on International Experience.”

During the event, innovative methods of foreign language teaching, the application of digital technologies, and competency-based approaches in education were comprehensively discussed. Particular attention was paid to the integration of the national education system with advanced international practices.

As part of the program, faculty members of the Department of Information Systems — A.N. Shormakova, D.R. Rakhimova, V.I. Karyukin, A.S. Karibayeva, and A.A. Mukhitova — participated as international experts and delivered presentations in the fields of digital technologies and artificial intelligence.
