Within the framework of curatorial educational activities and in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 “Quality Education”, aimed at supporting students’ spiritual and cultural development, promoting national values, and increasing interest in Kazakh art, students of the Department of Solid State Physics and New Materials Technology of the Faculty of Physics and Technology visited the G. Musrepov Kazakh State Academic Theatre for Children and Youth.

At this theatre, the students attended the performance “Kulager” (Soundrama), staged based on the poem “Kulager” by Ilyas Zhansugurov. The production was directed by Farhad Moldagali, a laureate of the State Youth Award “Dary”. Musical accompaniment was provided by the ethno-modern jazz band “STEPPE SONS”. The choreographer was Adilet Tamenov, the choirmaster — Galymzhan Berekeshov, the stage designer — Aidana Bisembayeva, and the costume designer — Alma Syrbayeva.

The performance “Kulager” artistically reveals the national identity of the Kazakh people, their deep respect for the horse, and a philosophical perception of life as a race. The production vividly conveys the ideas of justice and integrity, the strength of the human spirit, and the tragic consequences of envy and betrayal.

The modern musical format, expressive plastic movements, and harmonious integration of national elements contributed to the development of students’ aesthetic perception and enhanced their interest in cultural heritage. This cultural event had a positive impact on students’ spiritual growth, the formation of patriotic awareness, and personal values.
