The Winter Scientific School "Protection of Human Rights in the Digital Environment" has concluded its work.
The Farabi Winter Scientific School, "Protecting Human Rights in the Digital Environment," concluded at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University as part of the implementation of SDG 4, "Quality Education." The school was organized by the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Those responsible for the winter school were K.R. Useinova, PhD in Law, Associate Professor, and Head of Department; A.S. Ibrayeva, Doctor of Law, Professor; D.A. Tursynkulov, PhD in Law, Assistant Professor; and Zh. Ospanova, PhD in Law, Associate Professor. The moderator was A.S. Ibrayeva, Doctor of Law.
The goal of the winter school was to teach students the fundamentals of law, analyze new threats to the realization of human rights, and acquire skills in applying legal knowledge in practice. The topics covered included legal and state theory, constitutional and administrative law, international law, personal data protection, the integration of digital law into society, the fundamentals of artificial intelligence, and certain civil law issues, particularly the institution of inheritance.
The classes were taught by leading Kazakh scientists and faculty from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and other universities.
The participants were law students from foreign universities. A total of 65 students participated. Upon completion of the winter scientific school, all participants received certificates for completing 72 hours of study.
