Students of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Tanirbergenova Dayana Almasovna, Estemirova Sabrina Mukhamedzhanovna, and Alish Marta Bakytbekkyzy, participated in the international educational program Jeju NextGen AI Future Leaders Camp held on Jeju Island, South Korea, and successfully completed it. Tanirbergenova Dayana Almasovna and Estemirova Sabrina Mukhamedzhanovna are fourth-year students of the educational program 6B07109 – Industrial Electronics and Control Systems, while Alish Marta Bakytbekkyzy is a third-year student of the educational program 6B06201 – Radio Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications. The international program aimed to train young leaders, promote the exchange of advanced knowledge in artificial intelligence, and develop international scientific and educational cooperation.
The program content is directly aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Within the framework of SDG 4 – Quality Education, students gained international-level knowledge and enhanced their practical and research skills in artificial intelligence and digital technologies. In accordance with SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, participants developed projects in innovative technologies, digital transformation, and modern IT solutions, contributing to technological advancement. Furthermore, under SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals, experience exchange with students from various countries and international experts strengthened global academic collaboration.
During the program, Tanirbergenova Dayana Almasovna, Estemirova Sabrina Mukhamedzhanovna, and Alish Marta Bakytbekkyzy actively participated in lectures, practical sessions, and team projects, enhancing their professional competencies. Upon completion of the program, they were awarded special certificates and prizes for their high level of preparation, active participation, and creative approach. This achievement not only demonstrated the students’ strong academic potential but also contributed significantly to enhancing the university’s international standing.
