SDG–4: Theatre as a Platform for Quality Education and Spiritual Development

On February 7, 2026, at 6:00 PM, second-year students of the educational program “Industrial Electronics and Control Systems” of the Department of Electronics and Astrophysics, Faculty of Physics and Technology, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, accompanied by their group curator A.A. Kapparova, visited the Gabid Musrepov Kazakh State Academic Theatre for Children and Youth, where they watched the play “Apke.”

The cultural and educational event was organized in accordance with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 – Quality Education. SDG 4 emphasizes not only academic excellence but also holistic personal development, including the formation of moral values, cultural awareness, and aesthetic appreciation.

Attending the theatre enriched students’ cultural perspectives, strengthened their respect for national art, and contributed to their moral and intellectual development. The themes of family, responsibility, and ethical choice presented in the performance encouraged reflection and promoted students’ spiritual growth within the framework of comprehensive quality education.
