SDG-4,10,17 :Inclusive Education – A Guarantee of Equal Opportunities
At the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, a seminar-training titled “Inclusive Education as a Guarantee of Equal Opportunities” was held within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) – 4, 10, and 17: “Quality Education.” The event was organized by the Research and Practice Center “Inclusive Environment” in cooperation with the Psychological Support Service.
The purpose of the seminar-training was to foster an inclusive culture among students, promote tolerance and mutual respect, and raise awareness of the importance of equal opportunity principles in their future professional activities. Active students of the Faculty of Law took part in the event, where they became familiar with the fundamentals of inclusive education and the principles of creating an accessible and supportive environment for all.
The seminar addressed the following key topics:

The concept of inclusion and its role in modern society;

Core principles and values of inclusive education;

Support for individuals with special educational needs;

Creating a barrier-free and accessible environment;

The importance of equality and non-discrimination in the professional activities of future specialists.
The practical part of the seminar included interactive exercises, case study analysis, and group discussions. These activities contributed to the development of empathy, a better understanding of the needs of various social groups, and the formation of inclusive interaction skills. Students shared their opinions and discussed the importance of building a society where every individual feels accepted and respected.
As a result, participants gained valuable knowledge about inclusion, broadened their understanding of equality and accessibility principles, and recognized the responsibility of future professionals in shaping an inclusive environment. The seminar was held in a warm and supportive atmosphere that encouraged open dialogue and strengthened mutual understanding.
At the end of the event, participants expressed their gratitude to the organizers and emphasized the importance of regularly holding activities aimed at developing inclusive culture and social responsibility among students.
