Leadership lecture by the employer of the Finance and Accounting Department on the topic of the new Tax Code
On February 20, 2026, the employer of the Department of Finance and Accounting of the Higher School of Economics and Business at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Chief Accountant of Amwey Central Asia, Samal Nurpeissova, delivered a leadership lecture on the topic “The New Tax Code” for students of economic specialties at Almaty State Business College.
The event was organized as part of the university’s systematic work to strengthen partnerships with employers, develop practice-oriented education, and expand cooperation with technical and vocational education (TVET) institutions.
The lecture aimed to familiarize students with current changes in tax legislation and to develop practical understanding of the mechanisms for applying the provisions of the new Tax Code in organizational activities. In the context of the dynamic transformation of the financial system and increasing requirements for business transparency, the training of specialists with modern knowledge in tax administration and financial accounting is of particular importance.
During her presentation, Samal Nurpeissova provided a detailed overview of key changes and innovations in tax legislation, including tax administration procedures, tax reporting requirements, and taxpayer responsibilities.
