To popularize modern scientific knowledge among farmers and specialists, demonstrate the capabilities of the faculty's laboratory base and strengthen partnerships between the university, production and the agricultural sector to jointly address the challenges of sustainable development.

 

6. Brief description:

Within the framework of SDG 17, the Department of Biotechnology conducted introductory tours of modern laboratories aimed at farmers and specialists in the agrobiotechnology industry. The participants were presented with equipment for analyzing the physiological state of plants, for biochemical and molecular analyses, and for assessing the quality of agricultural products, as well as analytical instruments for determining heavy metals and mineral elements, as well as equipment for tissue culture, culture rooms, autoclaves, etc. in the laboratory of plant biotechnology.  equipment. The staff conducted demonstrations of laboratory procedures, talked about the possibilities of cooperation, consulting support and joint research projects.

The event was attended by employees of the Department of Biotechnology, the Laboratory of Molecular Ecophysiology and the Laboratory of Plant Biotechnology, researchers, as well as senior students who accompanied the guests and participated in demonstration experiments. The prospects of introducing innovative biotechnological approaches to agriculture in the region were discussed. The tour contributed to the expansion of the participants' practical knowledge and the development of sustainable partnerships with the real sector.
