On September 4, 2020, the tutors of the chair of Russian philology and World literature organized the zoom conference. The conference aim was to provide 100% registration of students in the social university networks. The tutors of the chair of Russian Philology and World Literature and 1st year students (17 people) participated in the conference.
Senior teacher of the chair, Ismailova Sh. A. showed the university pages on social networks and on Internet. So, the tutors provided the students with links to the university page on Instagram, on Youtube and Vkontakte.
Students were invited to subscribe to the indicated pages of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in order to be aware of all events that take place at the university and to take an active part in the social university life.
Also, the students made a self-presentation, where they briefly told about their achievements in various fields: participation in olympiads and creative competitions, sports competitions.
At the end of the meeting, the monitor of the "Russian Philology" group was elected by general vote. It was Madikhan Balmaganbet.
All the students said that it was an honor for them to enter the most prestigious university in Kazakhstan with a great history and they expressed their readiness to actively participate in all spheres of the university life and defend the honor of their university.
