We are pleased to announce that teachers and students of the Urdu language of the Department of the Middle East and South Asia of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University are taking a language course at the National University of Modern Languages in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
Specialists and students from Kazakhstan of the Urdu language were warmly greeted by the Director of the Department of Academic Relations Dr. Nadim Talib and his deputy Amjad Ali Khan, Director of the Urdu Department Mr. Dr. Abid, coordinator of Urdu Section Dr. Zafar and other members and teachers of the Urdu Section of the National University of Modern Languages.
During a special meeting aimed at strengthening friendly cooperation in the field of science and education, general information about the National University of Modern Languages, its activities, international relations, plans, goals and objectives of the language course were presented.
On April 5, a reception was held for the former Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, currently Deputy Foreign Minister Rakhmetullin Akan Akasovich. During the meeting, the Ambassador expressed confidence that the internship will give an impetus to the further strengthening of diplomatic, cultural, and economic relations between Kazakhstan and Pakistan, and the training of domestic qualified specialists-translators in Urdu. The delegation of the Faculty of Oriental Studies congratulated the Ambassador on his new appointment and expressed special respect and gratitude for the opportunity to take this course.
On April 27, together with professors and teachers of the University of Modern National Languages, meetings were organized with the leaders of the Writers ' Union of Pakistan, the Department of National Language Development and the National Book Fund. During the meeting, general information was given about each organization, their activities, international relations, and in the future it will be shared between these organizations and oral negotiations on the implementation of activities were held with Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
In the Ayub military Heritage foundation of the Ministry of Defense of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan (Army heritage foundation Ayub national park), organized by the honorary friend of the faculty, Brigadier, Dr. Adnan Salin, who made a special contribution to the process of reconstruction of the Muhammad Ali Jinnah Center at the Faculty of Oriental Studies in a modern innovative format, supplemented with technical and educational materials. At the end of the meeting, Dr. Adnan expressed his respect to each member of the delegation and presented memorable gifts on behalf of the team.
The informative advanced training course at NUML was very effective and useful. Comprehensive knowledge and relevant information about the methods of teaching and practical application of the university were obtained. In addition, the teachers of kaznu have established good and friendly relations with qualified specialists. During the training process, students received a lot of new and important information, were given the opportunity to meet with Urdu specialists, and it is planned to establish further cooperation.The teachers and students who attended the special training program express their gratitude to numl, the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Kazakhstan and the leadership of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University with the intention to increase such seminars and courses in this format in the future.
The language course will run from April 2, 2021 to May 5, 2021. The main goal of this course is skill improvement.
