RULES OF COMPETITION DEDICATED TO THE CREATIVITY OF J. KENZHALI

On April 30, 2021, the educational and creative laboratory of press and new media named after Zh.Kenzhalin of the Faculty of Journalism of Al-Farabi KazNU announces a republican competition among young journalists and enrollees for the best works and projects dedicated to the life and work of journalist, writer Zhumabek Kenzhalin.
The purpose of organizing the competition is to promote the development of creative search among young journalists and enrollees, the implementation of creative and new ideas in the field of journalism and media.
Competition nominations:

- 4. Best multimedia project
- 5. Best media project
General rules
The competition among school students and enrollees for the best creative works and media projects will be held from April 23 to June 15, 2021.
Materials are accepted until June 15, 2021, by email jastilshi@gmail.com .
The results of the competition will be announced on June 23, 2021.
Jury of the competition
The jury of the competition consists of the lecturers and professors of the Al-Farabi KazNU, journalists, well-known public figures from the fields of television journalism and electronic mass communications.
The best works will be selected by the decision of the jury members.
Information: short biography of Zhumabek Kenzhalin
Zhumabek Omaruly Kenzhalin was born on December 30, 1954 in the kolkhoz named after Zhdanov in Amangeldy district of Kostanay region.
In 1971, after graduating from high school in Kayindy, Arkalyk region, he worked on the farm.
In 1973-1975 served in the Armed Forces.
In 1981 he graduated from the S.M. Kirov Kazakh State University.
He took part in a number of international and all-union youth and student forums.
At the university he became a Lenin scholar for excellent academic performance. Was one of the youth leaders. In 1978 he was elected a People's Deputy to the Almaty City Council.
In 1981 he worked in the newspaper "Egemen Kazakstan" ("Socialist Kazakhstan"), first as a correspondent, then as a head of the department. In 1986 - 1988 he was the executive secretary in the magazine "Zerde" ("Bilim zhane enbek"), the acting chief editor, since 1994 he was the chief editor of the newspaper "Khalyk Kenesi". Since 1996 he was the chief editor of the journal "Akikat", in 1997 - 1999. was the chief editor of the newspaper "Kazakh Adebieti".
From June 1999 to August 2006, he was president, chief director of “Kazakh gazetteri” LLP, from August to December 2006, editor-in-chief of the national weekly "Ana tili", from November 2006 to February 2009 - the national socio-political magazine "Akikat ". From February 2009 to July 2017, he held the position of chief director-chairman of the board of editors of “Kazakh gazetteri” LLP.
In 2004 he defended his dissertation for the degree of candidate of political sciences on the topic "The role of mass communications in the formation of Kazakhstani patriotism."
He is the author of the following books: “Zhelkildep osken kuraktai” (1988), “Shyndykty shyrak etip ustanyz” (1998), “Ult rukhyn ulyktagan Urpakpyz” (2005), “Sayasi management zhane baspasozdіn zhurtshylykpen bailanys maseleleri” (2010), “Er Zhauke minbegenmen altyn takka ”(2011, repeated revised edition in 2012), “Kalam kanaty ”(2014), “ Elzhandylyk muraty zhane baspasoz bedeli ”(2016).
In 2018, in honor of Zhumabek Omaruly and in order to honor his memory, the book "Serke sozdin sardary" was published.
Primary requirements:
The works submitted for the competition dedicated to the life and work of Zhumabek Kenzhalin must correspond to the goals and objectives of the competition.
Rewarding:
The winners of the competition will be awarded with diplomas of 1, 2, 3 degrees, and a certificate will be issued to the participants.
Technical requirements for works and projects:
Scientific papers, in accordance with the rules, must be submitted in electronic form.
Works and projects must meet the following requirements:
- 1. Scientific work (article) should be 10-15 pages and prepared in a text editor MS Word. Tables, diagrams, photographs must have their own name and are typed in the Windows framework.
- 2. Page parameters: top indent-2 cm, bottom-2 cm, left indent-3 cm, right-2 cm.
- 3. Font: Times New Roman, Kz Times New Roman, size-14.
- 4. Line spacing - 1. Paragraph: 1.25 cm.
- 5. After one interval from a paragraph, the materials of the scientific work are given.
- 6. The list of references is given at the end of the scientific work and in the order of listing. In a scientific work, the list of references is given in upright brackets in accordance with the number of the author's work in the list of references. When using links, you must indicate the source.
