Guest lecture with Dr. Damian Kedziora, Postdoctoral Researcher HUMLOG Institute, Helsinki Hanken School of Economics

On May 5, 2021, the Higher School of Economics and Business, Department of " Business Technologies "of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University held a guest lecture with PhD, postdoctoral student of the University of Helsinki (Finland) Damian Kedziora on the topic"Innovative technologies as a tool for eliminating supply chain failures during the COVID-19 pandemic". Damian Kedziora researches innovative technologies and the use of robotics in business, as well as issues related to improving the efficiency of digital business.

 

The guest lecture was devoted to a discussion about the complex situations and risks that the COVID-19 pandemic brought, as it was fought by large corporations in Finland. But at the same time, Damian Kedziora also noted the positive aspects of the pandemic, because this situation in the world has led to the invention of new effective technologies that will help many enterprises in the fight against the coronacrisis.

 

The meeting was held on the Zoom platform. This lecture gave the audience a lot of explanations to questions about effective innovative supply chain management technologies during the pandemic. Students actively asked questions about the application of the experience of foreign countries in domestic business and received many useful skills for future logisticians and business leaders.
