The main goal of the open lesson is to familiarize with the theoretical issues of vibrational spectroscopy, equipment, methods of reception, interpretation of vibrational spectra, sampling methods, including diffuse reflection spectroscopy, reflection-absorption spectroscopy and photoacoustic spectroscopy.

Vibrational spectroscopy occupies an important place in the detection of the molecular structure of compounds. This method allows one to establish the nature of atomic groups, their content, obtain data on the content of functional groups, especially those that cannot be characterized by chemical methods, establish the nature of the chemical bond, study the kinetics of chemical reactions, the initial nature of hydrogen bonds, etc.
