THE COOPERATION WITH YOGYAKARTA STATE UNIVERSITY WILL CONTINUE

A delegation from Yogyakarta State University headed by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Professor M. Ham Morgan arrived at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The Indonesian delegation included the Vice–Rector of the University for Planning and Cooperation Professor Dr. Siswandoyo, Head of the Department of the world-class university Professor Muhammad Bruri Triyo, PhD Nunik Sugesti, PhD Isti Unit, Head of the Academic Affairs Group Amrich Bakti Utama.

Welcoming the guests, Chairman of the Board-Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev expressed gratitude to his Indonesian colleagues for the visit and told about the activity and achievements of the university.

"KazNU has an extensive experience of scientific and educational cooperation with foreign universities. Currently over 500 international cooperation agreements have been signed with leading universities and institutes, within the framework of which various educational programs and scientific and innovative projects are successfully implemented including with universities in Indonesia. There is much to learn from you, so when our students, teaching staff, PhD students communicate, travel, conduct joint research – this are the most important aspect of academic mobility," - the rector specified.

Vice-Rector of Yogyakarta State University, Professor M. Ham. Morgana, in turn thanked the university administration for the warm welcome. On behalf of the Rector of Yogyakarta University, he conveyed the warmest greetings. He noted that he was pleased to attend this meeting and considers it a great honor visit KazNU, which is the best university in Central Asia and Kazakhstan. Then the head of the delegation introduced his colleagues and told about the activities of his university, shared about further development plans.

At the end of the meeting, a memorandum of understanding between two parties was signed.
