An expanded meeting of the Academic Council was held at the Faculty of Oriental Studies

The agenda of the meeting included a discussion of State-of-the-Nation Address by President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev delivered on Sept. 1, 2022 “A Fair State. One nation. Prosperous society” and approval of the composition of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Oriental Studies for the 2022-2023 academic year. Professor of the Department of Sinology N.A. Aldabek, Director of the Institute of Asian Studies of KazNU named after al-Farabi, Professor G.N. Kim, Associate Professor of the Department of the Middle East and South Asia Zh.R. Seitmetova delivered a speech on the main topics of the Address of the President. The participants of the meeting asked the speakers questions, to which detailed answers were received. There was also an active exchange of views on various aspects of the qualitative implementation of the tasks of the Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the meeting, changes were made to the composition of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Oriental Studies for the 2022-2023 academic year. It was also decided that the faculty of the Faculty of Oriental Studies should take an active part in the implementation of the tasks set out in the Address of the President.
