On November 1, 2022, at the Philological Faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, there was a meeting of students, teachers with the Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, artistic critic, scientist Yerkin Shukman. The meeting topic was “Kulaktan karga boidy alar”. The organizer of this event is the Department of Kazakh Literature and Theory of Literature.
During the meeting, Yerkin Shukman performed folk songs, melodies of Birzhan sal and sal-sere. His virtuoso dombra playing captivated the audience, evoking many associations and memories in their soul. Everyone in the hall felt part of the great legacy of the past.
The event, which was attended by students and teachers of the Philological Faculty, gave each listener a special mood, an aesthetic impression.
