On September 23-24, 2022, Al-Farabi KazNU hosted the international conference "Integration for Life" with special tactical exercises close to interdepartmental interaction in emergency situations. These events are organized by the Faculty of Medicine and Health of Al-Farabi KazNU and the Republican Public Association "National Medical Association" and with the support of the Akimat of Almaty, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Department of Emergency Situations in Almaty Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Public Health Department of Almaty, Red Crescent Society, Rescue Center of Akimat of Almaty.
On September 23, 2022 at 8:30 a.m., the educational building of the GUK 2.3B of Al-Farabi KazNU, faculty, rescue equipment, fire extinguishing equipment, and medical equipment are involved in organizing special tactical exercises. According to the tactical task, he carried out the evacuation of people and victims from high-rise buildings, as well as extinguishing fires, removing victims from vehicles after an accident. In the established tents, medical and psychological assistance was provided, demonstrative exercises were held to provide emergency and first aid. After sorting the victims, the most severe patients were taken by ambulance to the Central City Clinical Hospital, where the victims were sorted and provided with specialized medical care.
September 23, 2022 at 11:00 on the central square in front of the rector of KazNU. Al-Farabi hosted a flash mob dedicated to the action "Doctors of the World for Peace". This action marked the beginning of a challenge, the doctors of Kazakhstan applied with this initiative to the World Medical Association at its General Assembly, which will be held in Berlin on October 6th.
The rector of KazNU named after al-Farabi, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Tuymebaev Zh.K., the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Major General Ilyin Yu V., participants from far and near abroad, representatives of various ministries and departments took part in the work of the international conference.
The purpose of this conference is to focus the attention of the government, local executive bodies, heads of various organizations to pay special close attention to the issues of preparedness of the healthcare system for emergencies of various nature, as well as to issues of organizing interagency cooperation.
