On December 9, the Kazakh-German University (KNU) www.logcentre.kz held a team student Olympiad among universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan within the framework of the X Kazakh-German Logistics Forum. Students of 2-4 courses of educational directions «Logistics», «Transport», «Organization of transportation, traffic and operation of transport», etc. were invited to participate in the Olympiad. Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Higher School of Economics and Business, Department of «Business -technology» was attended by 4th year students of specialty 6B11301 - Logistics (by industry) Akmolda Bekarys Nurzhanuly, Kadyr Aikerim Zhanatkyzy, Kakhar Nurila Serikkyzy. The leaders of the group are teachers of the Department of «Business -technologies» Baymukhanbetova E. E., Musa K. A.
The X Kazakh-German Logistics Forum was organized by the Kazakh-German University (KNU) for 3 days. On December 7 and 8, master classes of leading specialists were held at the forum. On December 9, a case olympiad for students and a job fair were held.
The case Olympiad consisted of 3 stages. Stage 1-warm-up 10 questions, 30 seconds for discussion. In the 2nd stage, a competition of captains took place. Stage 3 – homework. The teams had to prepare a film/animation presentation on the topics proposed by the organizers.
Following the results of the Case Olympiad, the team of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University took 1st place and was awarded honorary certificates and AirPods prizes. The team leaders were awarded certificates.
The annual organization of such a forum will contribute to the deepening of knowledge of students studying in the field of logistics, the exchange of experience in the field of logistics and the development of logistics in Kazakhstan.
