visiting professor of the Management Department at the High School of Economics, Doctor of Economics, Professor, President of the ANO "Institute for Scientific Communications", Leading Researcher of the Center for Applied Research of the Department “Economic Policy and Public-Private Partnerships” at the MGIMO University under Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russian Federation Popkova Elena Gennadievna held a seminar on "Integration into international science: peer-reviewed journals and databases” for undergraduates, doctoral students and faculty’s staff of KazNU al-Farabi. Moreover, Prof.Popkova E.G. delivers lectures and conducts seminars on "Methods of scientific research" for 1st year doctoral students in the period from 09/01/2022 to 01/15/2023.

Popkova E.G. is the founder of the Autonomous Non-profit Organization "Institute for Scientific Communications". She has high results in research,publication in international journals and a long experience in consulting of Russian scientists on publishing papers in reputable journals in Russia and abroad. He is an active participant in leading international forums, conferences and grants.

For the period from 2017 to 2022 E.G. Popkova has over 100 publications, including more than 20 articles in the Scopus and Web of Science databases. She is editorial board’s member of the International Journal of Economic Policy in Emerging Economies. Her h-index according to the Scopus database is 34.
