Training seminar for teaching staff with a professor from Finland Aizhas Sheikh

02.12.2022 at 11.00-13.00. visiting Professor of the Department of Management, Phd Aizhaz Sheikh (University of Jyvaskyla, Jyvaskyla, Finland) held a training seminar for university employees on the topic: "Understanding the new pedagogical/teaching methods in the digital era and how to implement them in everyday teaching at KazNU". The seminar considered new theories and approaches of teaching in the digital age, discussed the issues of training educators due to the high growth in demand for knowledge and the ability to design effective online learning.

Aizhaz Sheikh is a foreign scientific consultant to doctoral students of the department, the H-index of a scientist in the Scopus database is 16. Also, within the framework of the program for attracting a foreign professor, work is being done to prepare a proposal together with young scientists of the department to participate in grant programs, international projects, preparation of scientific articles for publication in peer–reviewed international journals (Scopus, Thomson Reuters), the educational programs of master's and doctoral studies are discussed with the teaching staff of the department in order to compare and make proposals for their modernization.
