Research internship at University of Padua

From November 08 to November 18, 2022 PhD,Senior Lecturer of the Management  Department Saule Kupeshova passed a scientific internship on "Strategic brand management as a factor in increasing the competitiveness of an enterprise" at the University of Padua (Padua, Italy).

The University of Padua is one of the largest in Italy and the oldest in Europe, with a history of over 800 years. In the history of the University of Padua there are many outstanding personalities who changed the cultural and scientific history of mankind: Nicolaus Copernicus, Galileo Galilei, Andreas Vesalius, William Harvey and many others.

More than 60 thousand students study at 32 faculties of the university, 2,200 teachers work there.University realize more than 100 undergraduate programs, the same number of master's specializations.There are 29 libraries with a total fund of two million books and 13 museums.

The University of Padua is always on the list of top universities in Italy, Europe and the world. Today, the University of Padua is ranked 4th in Italy by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings and 48th in Europe by US News & World Report. In the SDG4 - Quality Education ranking, it ranks 14th in the world. In addition, it is included in the top 300 best universities in the world. According to the QS World University Ranking-2022 it is ranked as a 243th.

As part of the internship, offline and online meetings with university scientists were held, a review of research on the topic of the internship was conducted. The tools of strategic brand management in Italy were discussed in order to develop recommendations for the formation and implementation of a brand management strategy in Kazakhstani enterprises. The issues of cooperation in the field of joint scientific projects and programs between the University of Padua and al-Farabi KazNUwere also considered.
