Training seminar of a foreign professor within the framework of the HSE Winter School

December 20, 2022 at 11:00 am till 01:00 pm. invited professor of the Department of Management, PhD Aizhaz Sheikh (University of Jyvaskyla, Jyvaskyla, Finland) held a training seminar on "How to promote scientific publications of culture in Kazakhstan?" Seminar was aimed to increase the scientific and publication activity of students and teaching staff of the Higher School of Economics and Business. Event was held in the frame of Winter School. During the seminar a stages of preparing a high-quality scientific publication was considered as well as issues of scientific publications ethics, international initiatives and standards for authors were discussed.

Aizhaz Sheikh is a foreign scientific consultant fordoctoral students at the Management’s Department. Hecollaborates with Department in the frame of attracting a foreign professor program. Support in preparation of doctoral student’s proposals, participation in grant programs, design an international projects as well asscientific articles for publication in peer-reviewed international journals (Scopus, Thomson Reuters) were being done. Moreover, Dr. Aizhaz Sheikh reviewsscientific publications and teaching materials in orderto improve their content. The h-index of Dr. Aizhaz in the Scopus database is 16.
