“Unity and peace is the priority of the Republic of Kazakhstan”

On October 25, 1990, the Declaration on State Sovereignty of the Kazakh SSR was adopted. The document enshrined such principles of statehood as the integrity, indivisibility and inviolability of the territory, the development of the culture of peoples and their languages, and the strengthening of national identity. Until 2009, this day was a public holiday. And again, years later, this date took the honorary title of a significant day of our Republic.
