OPEN HOUSE DAY

On January 21, 2023, the Department of Economics of the Higher School of Economics and Business of al-Farabi  Kazakh National  University  organized an open day.

The goal is to provide graduates with information on modern economic specialties with professional guidance in choosing future professions.

The event was attended by students of the "Specialized Lyceum № 178", "Gymnasium №159 named after Altynsarin", "School-Lyceum № 173", "Gymnasium № 138 named after M. Bazarbayev", "Lyceum № 24".

The opening speech to the opening of the event dedicated to the "Open House Day" was given to the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, L.A. Bimendieva, who shared warm wishes to the students and everyone present. The head of the department Daulieva G.R. and the teachers of the department Andabayeva G.K., Boluspaev Sh.A. told future applicants in detail about the general educational institution, the educational programs, specialties, services, advantages and offered educational opportunities in this educational institution through presentation and video reviews, booklets were distributed. 2nd year students of the specialty Economics Kosbay Zere and Tapi Ernar conducted explanatory work on their specialty.  Students answered all questions and showed interest in the specialty of economics.

During the event, teachers of the Department of Economics Ilyashova G.K., Esengeldieva G.T., Turarov D.R. and 1st year undergraduates conducted a tour of the university campus and acquainted students with the library of al-Farabi and Student Service Center "Keremet".

At the end of the event, the students expressed their gratitude to the teachers and undergraduates of all departments.
