On February 28, 2023, a quiz on the topic “Kazakhstan-Japan” was organized at the Department of Japanese Studies of the Department of the Far East between students of Waseda University and students of the Department of Japanese Studies. The competition was attended by students of the first, second and third year.
The jury members of the competition were Professor of the University Mr. Ogihara, teacher Saito, senior lecturers of the Department of Japanese Studies Borankulova S.K., Shadayeva M.T., Tazabekova G.B.
During the competition, students from both universities showed good knowledge of the history, language, culture and literature of Japan and Kazakhstan.
The winning students were awarded certificates and memorable prizes from Waseda University.
